Read Our COVID-19 Update

Covid-19 cases in the UK are expected to escalate rapidly. Whilst we are able, we will remain operational as normal, with our teams active on site and our head office open. As always our main priority is health and safety. We are advising our team members on government updates, advice and guidelines daily, if you should require any further information please contact us. We are all unsure of the potential impacts of COVID-19 however if required we have a business continuity plan in place whereby individual contacts will remain available by mobile phone and email. Our main phone lines will be diverted if necessary to ensure the business remains operational.

Thank you for your ongoing support and we wish you well during these unprecedented times.

Econ’s Asbestos Waste Station

Econ’s Asbestos Waste Station Delivers Waste Management Services to Companies Throughout Kent, London and Essex

Econ Construction, established in 1982, is focused on meeting the needs of its customers in the construction, infrastructure, utilities and transport industries.

In recent years, however, Econ have adapted the business to meet the ongoing challenges of hazardous waste management. The on-site Asbestos Waste Station is open to other companies who are looking for a location to drop off asbestos waste before it is sent on for safe disposal.

The station is run by three station Managers, Chris Taylor, Ginny Cheriton and Danny Cheriton all of whom hold WAMITAB certification and work alongside the competent and efficient waste management division.

As well as the transfer station for the receipt of asbestos waste, Econ also offers a van collection service to collect asbestos waste from your site and take it back to our station for safe and secure storing & we will organise disposal, providing full documentation for your records.

All of our professional, ADR qualified collection drivers hold required qualifications to collect and transport asbestos waste. Many contractors prefer the option of a collection as permanent parking for waste carrying vehicles or skips is becoming a problem at many sites, especially in city’s centres or towns.

As part of our commitment to the environment, we offer many additional services, including the following:

  • Oils, chemicals, batteries, fluorescent tubes, drum waste, IBC’s
  • Contaminated soils and stones
  • Bentonite
  • 8 Wheel tippers
  • Articulated bulkers
  • Skips and roro’s
  • 8yrd, 16yrd, 20yrd, 35yrd, 40yrd
  • Tanker waste
  • Jet vac tankers
